🚗 Rental Agreement
By booking a vehicle with HANKAFI CAR, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
📄 Required Documents
To rent a car with HANKAFI CAR, you must provide:
- Valid Driver's License: Held for at least 1 year. International Driving Permit required if license is not in French or Arabic.
- Passport or National ID: For identification and verification.
- Credit Card: In the driver's name for the security deposit. Cash deposit may be accepted with agency approval.
⚠️ Important: Failure to present valid documents will result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
💰 Security Deposit
A security deposit is required at the time of pickup. This deposit serves as a guarantee against damages, traffic violations, or any breach of the rental agreement.
- ✅ The deposit is held during the entire rental period.
- ✅ It is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle, provided there are no damages, violations, or outstanding charges.
- ✅ The deposit amount varies by vehicle category and is clearly stated before booking.
⛽ Kilometer & Fuel Policy
- Unlimited Kilometers: Unless otherwise stated, all rentals include unlimited kilometers.
- Fuel Policy: Full-to-Full. The vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
- ✅ Fuel costs for fuel consumed are the renter's responsibility.
- ⚠️ Additional fees apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.
🛡️ Insurance & Franchise
All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage including:
- ✅ Third-party liability insurance.
- ✅ Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
- ✅ Theft protection.
- ✅ Fire and natural disaster coverage.
Franchise (Excess): The franchise is the amount the renter is responsible for in case of damage or theft. The franchise amount is 500 EUR for all vehicle categories.
⚠️ Important: The renter is responsible for the first 500 EUR of any damage or theft. Damage to tires, windshield, undercarriage, and interior may not be covered by insurance.

❌ Cancellation Policy
- Free Cancellation: Up to 48 hours before pickup time.
- 50% Refund: For cancellations within 48 hours of pickup.
- No Refund: For no-shows or same-day cancellations.
- ✅ Modifications to bookings may be subject to availability.
👤 Additional Driver
- ✅ Additional drivers are allowed with a valid driver's license.
- ✅ The additional driver must meet the minimum age requirement (21 years).
- ✅ A fee may apply for additional drivers.
- ✅ Additional drivers must be present at pickup and sign the rental agreement.
📍 Delivery & Pickup
- ✅ Delivery to hotels, airports, and other locations is available.
- ✅ Additional fees may apply for delivery/pickup services.
- ✅ Please provide your exact location and time when booking.
- ✅ Free delivery within Branes, Tangier (subject to availability).
💳 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- ✅ Cash: Moroccan Dirham (MAD) only.
- ✅ Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- ✅ Electronic Payment: Bank transfer (for advance bookings).
- ⚠️ Service fees are clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
👤 Minimum Age
- ✅ The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years.
- ✅ Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young driver fee.
- ✅ The driver must have held a valid license for at least 1 year.
🚫 Prohibited Uses
The vehicle must not be used for:
- 🚫 Illegal activities or transporting illegal goods.
- 🚫 Racing, off-roading, or driving on unpaved roads (unless approved).
- 🚫 Towing or pushing other vehicles (unless approved).
- 🚫 Carrying more passengers than the vehicle's capacity.
- 🚫 Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
🚦 Traffic Violations
- ✅ The renter is fully responsible for all traffic violations, fines, and penalties during the rental period.
- ✅ Fines will be charged to the renter's credit card or deducted from the security deposit.
- ✅ Parking tickets, speeding fines, and other violations are the renter's responsibility.
📤 Vehicle Return
- ✅ The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time.
- ✅ Late returns are subject to additional charges (hourly or daily rate).
- ✅ The vehicle must be returned in the same condition (clean interior, full tank, no damage).
- ✅ A vehicle inspection will be conducted upon return.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
HANKAFI CAR is not liable for:
- ❌ Loss or damage to personal property left in the vehicle.
- ❌ Delays, accidents, or inconveniences caused by mechanical failure (subject to refund policy).
- ❌ Any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the vehicle.
📋 Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tangier, Morocco.
